Biography

Art Matters is a Horsham Rural City Council (HRCC) arts support program that enables people living with a disability to build individual capacity through participation in a broad range of art projects. It creates a unique set of skills, pathways and opportunities for people to realise their potential through the arts.

Art Matters aim to encourage and facilitate high quality and individualised arts experiences that have profile and impact within the broader community context. Each semester, there will be a coordinated program of Art Matters events within the inclusive Festival Program.

2018 PROGRAM Taking Enrolments.

ARTZ ConneXion.   18+ yrs    Social connection through collaborative arts participation.

Shake ‘n Groove   12-21 yrs   Dance and body awareness for young people.

P.A.Per WorKs     18+          Professional open studio practice for aspiring visual artists.

Soap Box Theatre 18+         Professional ensemble theatre making practice.
